This time it's Wish You Well by acclaimed mystery writer David Baldacci. It's a classic coming of age novel that starts with a tragedy (so be prepared for that) and then moves on to rural Virginia.

Any hints on the pinewood derby? This whole boy scout thing is new for us. There's been lots of sanding and filing and painting and such around here. Only one minor injury.
