For November, we will be reading Anne Bronté's imperfect, but powerful, novel The Tenant of Wildfell Hall.
The Chelsea Book Club is an actual book club that meets once a month (or so) to discuss a book, but you are welcome to join our discussion on Splore.

I'm a long-time point a shoot camera guy who is interested in taking the plunge and getting a nicer DSLR camera with full 1080p video support as well. The 2 cameras I'm looking at are the Canon T2i and the Nikon D3100 (both at pretty good prices at Costco, and both have what appear to be good starter packages). Any recommendations out there? I'd prefer ease of use, and intend to take advantage of both still photography as well as HD video. I also know that getting the right lenses is important, though I'm pretty uneducated when it comes to all that.

I need to get new sunglasses, but it's never as much fun (or cheap!) when you need prescription eyewear. I'm looking to purchase online, but I've never done that before and am wondering if there are reputable sites that can provide a good deal without messing up the prescription. Any experiences/recommendations?

This time it's Wish You Well by acclaimed mystery writer David Baldacci. It's a classic coming of age novel that starts with a tragedy (so be prepared for that) and then moves on to rural Virginia.
I hope you enjoy it.
