We'v'e enjoyed the funniest videos, now submit an amazing video for a prize. These do not have to be original--just post the link to youtube or wherever you found them.
The contest: post videos and get friends, family, strangers to "like" them. Video with the most likes by 10pm (pacific time) on January 15th wins. I know that's a long way off, but it takes time to find great videos and get people voting. Post as many as you want.
Rules: (1) post an amazing video to this splore. (2) Get as many people to "like" your video as you can (real people only, please) (3) Videos posted "anonymously" will not be eligible for the contest (you can still post them, though, and please do). The video with the most votes wins. It's as simple as that.
The prize is a $20 Visa gift card. Please invite your facebook friends to come see your videos and submit their own by clicking the link "invite others to join" and posting this splore to your wall or inviting friends individually.

Why are we here? "The Meaning of life"
Ultimately the most important question of all...
The writer Maya Angelou said:
"Since age two I've been waltzing up and down with the question of life's meaning. And I am obliged to report that the answer changes from week to week. When I know the answer, I know it absolutely; as soon as I know that I know it, I know that I know nothing. About 70 percent of the time my conclusion is that there is a grand design. I believe that the force that created life is betting that human beings will do something quite wonderful--like live up to their potential. I am influenced largely by Blaise Pascal and his wager. Pascal advises us to bet on the toss of a coin that God is. If we win, we win eternity. If we lose, we lose nothing.
I'm looking out a large window now and I see about 40 dogwood and maple and oak and locust trees and the light is on some of the leaves and it's so beautiful. Sometimes I'm overcome with gratitude at such sights and feel that each of us has a responsibility for being alive: one responsibility to creation, of which we are a part, another to the creator--a debt we repay by trying to extend our areas of comprehension."
What do you think? Have you heard any other quotes. Why are we here?
