How will the 2012 presidential election affect the future of America?
What makes America the greatest country on earth?
Can you say why America is the greatest country in the world?
America
The battle for the heart and soul of America. What do we need to do to win the war? We have to tell the truth!
Freedom
The importance of the state of being free: such as freedom of choice, freedom of speech/expression, freedom of the press, the right to use something or go somewhere without being controlled.
Dog Bite Stats in America
America has no lack for dog lovers or dog owners and although most owners are qualified dog owners, there are still reportedly over 4 mil people who suffer from dog bites every year. Most dog bites do not result in fatalities, but in 2012, 39 dog attacks resulted in death. Among other statistics, reports also show that over 50% of all people killed by dogs were adults 21 years and older.

Cashier: We have lost our job. The store will be closing.
Me: It’s the union’s fault.
Cashier: I want to set that straight! It’s the company’s fault! They cut our pay by 8% with out our consent!
Me: Ninety-two percent is better than nothing.
Cashier: I payed my dues for the union to protect us.
Me: The union is gone and you are without a job.

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovels, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land."
Nearly 75 years ago, (when Welfare was introduced) Roosevelt said, "Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a Camel, this is the Promised Land."
Today, Congress has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of Camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!
I was so depressed last night thinking about Health Care Plans, the economy, the wars, lost jobs, savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc .... I called a Suicide Hotline.
I had to press 1 for English.
I was connected to a call center in Pakistan. I told them I was suicidal. They got excited and asked if I could drive a truck......we're all soooooo screwed.....” – James Evans

Ann and I cannot thank you enough for supporting and believing in our cause.
This was more than just a campaign -- this was a national movement.
Thank you for the work that you did -- going across neighborhoods to knock on doors and put up yard signs. Thanks for making phone calls, coming to rallies, donating funds, and convincing friends and family to join our team.
What's really inspiring is that you came together because you care about America.
We still believe that better days are ahead. It's up to us to rally together to renew America's promise and restore American greatness.
From the bottom of our hearts, Ann and I thank you for your support, prayers, efforts, and vote. We are forever grateful to each and every one of you.
Today's a new day. Keep believing in America.
Thank you and God bless America,
Mitt and Ann Romney

Why would three million fewer Republicans vote in this election than in the 2008 election? Whatever the reason, it made the difference in the outcome. Clearly it was not the qualification of Mitt Romney, a brilliant, decent man who has the record to show he could have put our country back on the path to prosperity. Some say it was because he did not make Obamacare a bigger issue. That reason doesn’t seem valid since he said he would on his first day in office give waivers to all states and work to get it repealed. Some say he was not conservative enough. That is a silly argument, he is far to the right of President Obama. I hope it is not true, but could it have possibly been the 18 percent who said they would, under no circumstances, vote for a Mormon? Whatever the reason, the economic future of our country is much less bright than it would have been.

It was a great speech. I don't think we will be hearing much from him in the future. He is going to be shunned by the Tea Party. He hasn't served in a political office since 2006. I can't imagine that future candidates will have him campaigning for them. He will be welcome in LDS circles, but probably not anywhere else.

It’s a sad day for me. I love this country but fear the downward spiral of the last four years will continue for the next four years and will be irreversible. I was looking forward to Mitt Romney helping us reclaim the bright, prosperous future America deserves.
The best and worst thing about a democracy/republic is the ballot box. Now that people have discovered they can get anything they want at the ballot box, it can be the beginning of the end of our country’s greatness. The outcome of this election was because there were too many people wanting to stay in or get in the wagon and not enough wanting to pull the wagon. Too many people rather be on the dole than paying the toll.

“Maryland moves closer to Sodom and Gomorrah. My heart weeps. My prayer is still that votes will continue to be counted and more will turn out for God than called by the Washington Post at midnight.
It occurred to me this morning while praying over the election, some of our problem with the schools is that we hold our elections in them where people cast votes for unGodly things. While I was praying, I was hit with the image of lingering spiritual oppression increasing with every anti-God vote cast within their walls. I never considered this in the school problem formula before. Please join me in praying for the schools and students in a whole new way.
In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit:
Heavenly Father, please hear the cries of your people; forgive us our sins and bind sin in our land; please dwarf the voice of the liar and magnify the voice of Truth; please compel and inspire your people to be bolder witnesses of your Word; please open the eyes of the blind and help us all to see you and your ways; and, dear Lord, please, please, please give our children a healthy fear of you, God, that they will be protected by you and cast off the sinful ways of their culture. Please turn America, the promised land, toward you. Amen
Blessed Mother, please pray for us. We look to you for inspiration in sorrow. Show us how to take what seems deep and sorrowful and turn it into compassionate ministry to those who need Christ. Thank you for your witness, thank you for your love, thank you for going before us to soften the hardened hearts and confused minds in such desperate need of God's Truth. Help women, from young to old, to respect their bodies and the beautiful gift of procreation. Amen
Holy Spirit, please sweep across our land and around the world inspiring people with Godly restraint and wisdom. Please join the Virgin Mary in softening hearts and opening minds to Satan's lies and true freedom in the Lord. Amen
I humbly ask through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Amen” – Catholic Homeschooler

As Thomas Paine said, “These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives everything its value.”
The nation voted for assisted suicide.
I mourn for the opportunity our nation and the world lost yesterday. “Of all sad words of tongue and pen/ The saddest are these, 'It might have been'” – John Greenleaf Whittier

"I was just looking at Mitt Romney and his wife walking away from a rally and I have never seen such a wholesome normal looking couple... He seems like such a decent man who knows this is not about him but about the country. It would be a shame if this country misses out on having him as President and her as First Lady." – Rush Limbaugh

Me: I see your waiting room is full, but could I see Dr. Jackson for about a minute?
Receptionist: Dr. Jackson is only here on Wednesdays.
Me: On Wednesday, if Romney loses, I might be on my way to Cuba.
Receptionist: Call me, I’ll go with you!

We have less than 65 hours to change the future of America.
We need a change. We need to reclaim the bright, prosperous future America deserves.
On day one, Mitt Romney will begin undoing the damage of the last four years.
Mitt Romney is the only candidate with a specific plan to put America back to work. He's ready to lead America to a real recovery -- but we still need your help to make it happen. Together we can win this! – Matt Rhoades, Romney Campaign Manager

Yesterday in Ohio Obama said vote for revenge. America is better than that. This morning in New Hampshire Romney said vote for love of country. I’ll vote for love of country.

“This Tuesday is a moment to look into the future and imagine what we can do. This is much more than our moment. It is America's moment of renewal and purpose and optimism.
As president, I won't just represent one party, I'll represent one nation. I'll try to show the best of America, at a time when only our best will do.
I hope you will take a moment to listen to my closing argument.
President Obama promised change, but he could not deliver it. I promise change, and I have a record of achieving it. This is why I am running for president. I know how to change the course the nation is on, how to get us to a balanced budget and how to build jobs and rising take-home pay. Accomplishing real change is not something I just talk about--it is something I have done. And it is what I will do when I am President of the United States.
If you believe we can do better, if you believe America should be on a better course, if you are tired of being tired, then I ask you to vote for real change. Paul Ryan and I will bring real change to America, from Day One.” – Mitt Romney

"Our momentum is undeniable, if you just look at the numbers.
In Florida specifically, the Obama campaign has seen a 70% drop in the early vote compared with this time in 2008. Meanwhile, GOP numbers are up 10 points from 2008.
And nationally, Romney-Ryan has an 11-point advantage with independents.
And with 3 times more phone calls and 12 times more door knocks across the country than at this time in 2008, our message is reaching more voters than ever, and it's resonating.
So even though the billion-dollar Obama juggernaut wants to crow that Romney-Ryan momentum is a myth, they have nowhere near the numbers they need to position themselves for victory on Election Day. The math just doesn't add up." – Neil Newhouse, National Pollster

For the past several weeks The Glenn Beck Program has been counting down the worst Obama comments to date – from I don’t want them punished with a baby’ to ‘bitterly clinging to guns & religion’ and everything in between. Which comment do the fans think is the worst of all time?
It all came down to Obama telling Russia’s Dmitry Medvedev “This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility”, and his speech to La Raza where he said ““Some people want me to bypass Congress and change the laws on my own — and believe me, right now, dealing with Congress…believe me, the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting.”
And the winner with 74% of the vote was “Last Election”!
