I bought my daughter "the real ACT" and some flash cards.

She scored very high. She said the actual test was easier than the practice tests in this book.

She took them in real-time on Saturdays. She took the whole test at once and then graded herself. She said it was very helpful. I'll add the links for the book and cards from Amazon. I did bribe her with dinner out afterwards, but still MUCH cheaper than a paid course.
