I watch for people at crosswalks--especially kids.

Maybe it's just here, but you wouldn't believe how many cars just fly past people who want to cross the street. How long does it take to let them cross. Remember, you are the one with the car, they are on foot.

And this is at actual painted crosswalks. Even for middle schoolers. So, I let them cross, even when we have to wait a little bit for a car on the other side to stop, too.

Seriously, I can't believe adults who won't stop for kids to cross the street. We live in a small town, not a big city. This should probably be in the pet peeves spot, but I use my pet peeve to make someone's day safer.
