About this Splore

Three of us went to the midnight showing of Harry Potter 7 last night and had a blast. There were so many people, with all the screens open. I loved most of the changes from the book; I thought it improved on the book. But this was not a little kids' movie. And that Harry/Hermione kiss scene was a bad idea IMO.

The movie was well made. The midnight crowds were a lot of fun.

There were parts I didn't like, but over all it was fun to watch. Well, not fun--this was a darker movie--but intense and gripping. I jumped at one part and cried when Dobby died. I didn't enjoy the torture scene at all. Not for kids. But if you've read the books, you understand that it's building to a big ending, and it has to go through the dark stuff to get there.
