Three of us went to the midnight showing of Harry Potter 7 last night and had a blast. There were so many people, with all the screens open. I loved most of the changes from the book; I thought it improved on the book. But this was not a little kids' movie. And that Harry/Hermione kiss scene was a bad idea IMO.
Ovarian Cyst Discussion Group
I recently went through surgery to remove an ovarian cyst. It was a large Dermoid Cyst. Please ask any questions so you can know about your cyst and about my experience of the surgery. Please also feel free to share your experiences to help others. Feel free to ask anything. Note - I am not a doctor. Consulting your doctor is always a good idea. I am just sharing my experiences and opinions. (This is to address Challenge #9 for the ipad challenge)

Calling all Photographers! Contest #1
As long as everyone is on here having a good time, Splore would like to announce a photography contest. (There will be more contests, so check back!)
Post your best seasonal photo to this Splore between now and December 26th (winter, family tradition, Christmas, holiday foods, etc.). On December 28th, the photos will be presented to a panel of judges. Although the judges will take into account framing and lighting and other elements of style, ultimately, they will choose the winner based on the photo that "captures the season best."
Rules: (1) send original photos which you personally took. (2) Post them to this splore by midnight of December 26th. (3) Each user may post up to three photos. (4) If you want to change one for a different picture, go ahead--up until the contest closes at midnight. (5) Do not post anonymously if you want to win. (6) Photoshopping for enhancement is allowed, but the photos should not be significantly altered or "faked."
The prize is a $20 Visa gift card. Please invite your facebook friends to come see your photos and submit their own by clicking the link "invite others to join" and posting this splore to your wall or inviting friends individually.
(Any photos I personally post are for your enjoyment only, and are not entries into the contest.)
Well, our youngest child was pretty determined not to learn to ride a bike. He was terrified. I looked like the boogeyman trying to teach him as he screamed "I'm scared!!" and people stared at us. Well, I googled it and found a three step plan that worked great. If you are looking for something to try, this helped us a lot.
Any other suggestions? Now we're looking for a good bike for a 7 year old.
