All you Mac enthusiasts out there, you've no doubt been following the barrage of media coverage lately about the upcoming March release of the iPad 3. While anything new and shiny is worth talking about for some, others take a "ho-hum" attitude towards yet another incremental (?) update and argue it's simply not worth the upgrade (see http://techcrunch.com/2012/02/14/im-already-bored-with-the-ipad-3/). What do you think?

I have a 24" iMac which we use constantly. Unfortunately, there are signs that the hard drive is dying. Looking for suggestions for a reliable internal hard drive to replace it with, and any experiences folks may have doing the replacement themselves (I don't have the Mac service warranty and don't want to pay $$$ to take it to the Apple Store).

What is everyones opinion on the new MacBook Air?

I am editing a lot of 1080HD video on my iMac. because of the file size the computer has become extremely slow and I can't get any work done.

Can anyone give me some advice on how I can increase the speed? Are there any local computer stores that does upgrade work on Macs?
